Is Destruction a Form of Creation?

The word destruction. It could mean a world of different ideas. Some refer to destruction after a mass bombing or the tearing down of a building, so many different situations jam packed into one word. Some destruction is mental, erosion of the brain from prior experiences that shaped them to believe they are getting destroyed. Some uses of destruction could have a positive conation, like in sports when you refer to destroying your opponent or in life in general, like slang for doing really well, you could destroy it. How does this word have a form of creation though? Destruction could start something new, build from the ground up, and something new could be created. The optimists of the world do not see destruction like the smashing of an old building as a bad thing, but they see room for creation to build something new and nice. An allusion to this topic is from the book, “The Destructors”. When Trevor finally gets what he wants to destroy, he thinks about the beauty and creation of the organized plan to make it happen. The point of view is always the most important part of the way people take destruction, and to many people, destruction is a form of creation.
