Is Domain Authority Matter In SEO?

According to many SEO agencies and the masters, Domain Authority (DA score by MOZ) matters in ranking at Google and other search engines.

Now the question is: Is really DA matter in SEO?

If yes then how and if no then why?

First of all, In my point of view and according to the experience I have and after seeing the reports of rankings for the sites I am running right now:

Yes, it does and I am not just another guy saying that DA matters in Google rankings, I am one of the top 10 bloggers in Pakistan and I am in the list for a reason.

When it comes to SEO, all professional people tend to look at high DA and high DR blogs/sites.

Why DR?

Because Ahrefs is standing at the 2nd largest database of URLs and Domains after the Google index and that’s why SEOs can have their trust in their quality measurements.

They are offering Domain and URL rating scores to better understand the quality of a site/blog.

So the digits are here:

If you are looking to boost your site’s rankings, you should consider gaining links from DA 20+ and DR 25+ blogs or sites.

These links will surely sky-rocket your rankings at Google and for making links, make sure you are not opting for sites established on expired domain hunting techniques.

Check the history of a blog/site and if the site/blog is at least 2 years old and consistently publishing quality content with sufficient traffic, you can choose that for your link-building campaign.

That’s my short and clear answer to those who are looking to know whether DA or DR matter in SEO or not.
