Client side backend for Apps

Backend is backbone for most of the mobile applications out there in market. In order to make the UI data driven application needs APIs. There are times when as an application developer we want to test our application without waiting for backend to give apis. This is where we can create our own api stubs locally.

We can do that with tools present online but most of them has problem with updating of data. If you want to add another property or just change the value of property. Every time you do that, it will create a new url for you and you would not want to change the url on app side again and again.

6. In case you want to change the response, modify it in .kt file. Make sure you close the old connection before starting a new one.

For Android projects, this can be done from inside projects as well, its only about adding dependencies, in that case your device would be your server as well as your client.
