My main three aims for the degree show

In preperation for the degree show, I have printed off a few materials to place on my stand and plan on finishing off the build of my application over the weekend in preparation for next week. So that when I show it, it is a real working application instead of a prototype.

I’ve never really participated in an event where people are expected to approach me to look at my work. It is something I am a little nervous about but also excited to see the opportunities it may bring and the potential obstacles that may arise. One of my biggest concerns is that no one will approach me and I lack the confidence required to attract people to my stand.

Although I am happy at the place I am currently working at, I am also excited about the exposure the degree show will possibly provide me. I haven’t really got many professional contacts so it will be a great chance for me to gain some. Hopefully, leading to new doors opening for me.
