Oh necessity! Bordem is the step mother of almost half of the inventions.

It it being said for god knows how many years that the necessity is the mother of invention, but is that true and if it is true, is that all? No, i guess not.

Like many other gifts and curses of evolution bordem is also one of that. It must be a fundamental thing that separate us from animals as you never see a cow gets bored from sitting in the middle of grass leisurely and regurgitating for hours and hours. So bordem is a special quality of humans which push us to do something. Now it will not be untrue that half of the inventions might have been started to process while some intelligent person would be getting bored.

People were doing good publishing books with hand-made stamps but Mr. Gutenberg got bored with the same routine of ‘thuk-thuk’ and presented his new printing machine. Mark Zuckerberg must have felt bore when he made facebook, although it was not counted as an invention. From MacMillan who ran cycle for the first time to the great inventor Thomas Addison, you can easily say that the whole scientific revolution was the somehow the outcome of the bordem. So if the necessity takes credit of being mother of inventions then bordem atleast be respected(or humiliated) as step mother of it.

Necessity is always there and nowhere at the same time. Think it in this way, ancient humans was happy with thier nomadic life and according to many theories they had longer life than us. So why it was necessary to settle down and start agriculture which couod produced only a fraction of variety what they were consuming from jungles. Also the agriculture required hard work and labour than plucking sweet, fresh and natural fruits from a tree. Now if you try to find the reason of thier stupid decision to leave nomadic life and carry buckets of water, you will never find anything but boredem. They must have been bored by their routine of traveling miles and miles without any purpose and settle down that eventually led the whole human species to become us, waking up in the morning and goimg to the work.

Some people also get bored with this routine and already started something new. Most of the people must be compelled to leave thia routine for sure and adapt a new way of life. That could be another nomadic way may be not in jungles but in space.
