Time For A New Day

Everyday that we wake up is a new opportunity

We all have the same number of hours in each day. Some people feel that there is never enough time to accomplish what they want to do. For others, the hours and days may drag because they have too much time and not enough meaningful activity to fill the hours. They may feel bored.

There is usually no real logical reason for boredom to set in and cause the hours to be wasted away. If people can read and write, they don’t need to be bored. They can travel off to far away lands and experience adventures through someone else’s words or photographs. They can also write of their own memorable experiences which had meaning to them.

Maybe it is just meeting a new person or trying out a recipe. It could be taking something to a neighbor or taking a walk around the block. It may be exploring the aisles at the grocery store. It could be looking at a beautiful flower outside, or a sunrise, or a sunset. Watching a different show on television might be entertaining.

There are people out there who need a friend or even just a smile come their way once in a while. WE might be able to be the person who helps another get more meaning out of life. If someone is feeling down and discouraged, maybe WE can be the one to bring some light to the darkness which pervades their life. Making life better for ourselves and others is a lesson we can learn.

When the sun rises on a new day, it is time to start anew. Hopefully, it will be a GOOD DAY. Life is a test and a challenge, but it is meant to be enjoyed. Success and happiness can be ours.
