Craft Your Medium Title Carefully

As an author on Medium its clearly important that you choose enticing titles and subtitles to maximize your odds of readers clicking onto your story.

The most successful writers on Medium will all tell you the importance of a title. There are so many factors that go into making a quality title, but today we are just focusing on one aspect; Does the title limit your ability to push out creative content?

See if your title boxes you in very narrowly to speaking on one subject, or one point of discussion. If it does, it can really limit your creativity, and you’ll often find yourself hitting writers block, staring at the screen without a clue what to write. Bad titles have also caused me to rush, release short stories, and worse, all because of boxing my creativity in.

Try to create more general titles that allow for true expansion of thought.
